Attention Juniors interested in Nursing or Medical fields. The Nursing Assistant Program will again be offered at the South Louisiana Community College, Crowley campus. You must have at least a 2.0 gpa. This is a great way to get a jump start on your medical career by attending college in the morning and classes at IHS in the afternoon. If you are interested, see Mrs. Stelly in the Counselor's office to complete application. Deadline is Friday!
Attention Teachers: The Senior Awards Program is Thursday night at 6 p.m. If you are presenting club awards or subject awards, it is very important to get the paperwork back to either Mrs. Gonzales or Mrs. Stelly as soon as possible.
Alyce Bertrand is a lovely 13 year old student at St. Francis. She will be a freshmen here next year. She is need of a lung transplant due to Cystic Fibrosis. She is currently at Texas Children's Hospital waiting to be accepted on the transplant list. T-shirts to help defray hospital costs are now on sale. Order forms may be picked up outside Mrs. Gonzales' door or the front office. All order forms and money must be turned into Mrs. Gonzales by Friday of this week. Please help this young lady with her fight against this terrible disease.

"The AR party for students earning 50 or more AR points will be today at lunch. Report to the library after you eat lunch if you earned 50 or more AR points during the 4th 9 weeks. Invitations were not given to teachers. A list of students qualifying for the AR party is posted outside of the library door."
